40 Years of Dining, Dancing & Donating
The Black Tie Tailgate is a one-of-a-kind, philanthropic preview of the Philadelphia Auto Show. It started back in 1986 with a small group of dealers, industry partners and members of the public who wanted to do some good. The dining, dancing and most importantly, the donating hasn’t stopped since. The event has proudly raised more than $10 million for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to date.

Our Part & Your Part
The goal of the Black Tie Tailgate is a simple one. Let’s raise as many funds as possible for one of the best children’s hospitals in the world that we are so fortunate to have right in our backyard…the amazing Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Our Part
The ADAGP works hard to solicit sponsors for the event as well as promote it to the general public and the entire regional automotive industry. We take great pride in every dollar raised as we know the impact that it will make.
